Founder, Principal Planner
With more than 12 years of experience, and a background in fine arts, I have overseen elaborate wedding installations and have executed social galas for Pittsburgh’s premier corporate and non-profit institutions. When I design an event, I cannot help but see it as a canvas for that all important moment in your life. When you look at a painting, it’s not just the brushstrokes that matter, it’s also the feeling that you walk away with! My favorite designs feel intimate yet refined, filled with roaming, garden florals and warm candlelight. They tell your story. Logistics are just as important as the design. I pride myself on a calm, collaborative, yet concierge approach to planning. No detail is left untouched.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my son and daughter, gardening, visiting the latest foodie spot in Pittsburgh or exploring new destinations. I have been fortunate to travel the world with my family, and hope to one day execute celebrations abroad. Our adventures have inspired my signature European-garden style, brought to life both in my events and in my own home! Dream wedding destinations include chateaus in France, coast-side villas in Italy and the esteemed Ballyfin in Ireland.

I’m celebrating 4 years at Soiree by Souleret. Prior to joining Shayne, I worked as a cast member with Walt Disney World Resorts, giving me the foundation to provide a renowned level of customer service to my clients. Transitioning from working at the happiest place on earth, to executing one of the happiest days of someone’s life has been a rewarding experience. I carefully curate each event to reflect what is important to the client, while also proposing additional details to elevate the event one step further. My favorite designs incorporate timeless details that you will look back and love even 20 years from now. I believe that my attention to detail, realism and communication creates a planning process that has led each event to feel personalized, unique and stress free.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading or planning my next getaway. Whether it is a short weekend away or a multi-week trip, I am always looking to discover another part of the world. I find that exploring new destinations has inspired me to become more creative for my clients.
