Let’s talk about what inspires us! What often inspires me is lush gardens landscapes and intricate architecture. I have always wanted to produce an event that incorporated both. This styled shoot with Megan Lee Photography gave me that chance. And what more perfect venue than the historic Pennsylvanian to provide our canvas!
We partnered with greenSinner Floral Event Design to bring the garden table scape to life. All I had to say to owner Jimmy was “English Garden. Lots of ivy. Urns. Go!” Look what he made happen- all that and more! Topiaries. Cloches. Moss. Trees. Layer upon layer of beautiful florals! Lighting by EF Lighting highlighted every beautiful detail!
This shoot was also about a subtle play on texture. Mosaic, Inc. provided that with velvet and floral-patterned table linens, and monogrammed hemstitch napkins, complementing cement urns filled with textured floral varieties. Marbella Event Rental’s velvet chairs, and gorgeous settings from All Occasions Party Rental, finished the design.
And if we’re talking dreams, how about mine of wanting to eat dessert first? Cakes by Colby created mini cakes with delicate floral toppers to place at each setting.
Special thanks to our other amazing vendor team members who made this editorial possible! – Our models, Alejandro and Marisa, are a real-life engaged couple and professional dancers with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, wearing attire from Luxe Redux Bridal and The Black Tux. Our bridesmaid, Hannah, is a friend and fellow ballerina. Clare from See Jane Blush and Christy from Simply Captivating enhanced the natural beauty of our ladies. They looked stunning! And what’s more perfect for a ballerina bride than an oversized bun?!? Emily Baird Design created a beautiful stationery suite, complete with deckled edges and gold foil for a luxurious old-world look. Susie Saltzman provided us with a striking collection of wedding bands. And finally, Bar Marco deserves a special thank you for providing a crisp getting ready space for us.
All of my dreams are right before your eyes! See more of this session on Style Me Pretty.
